Show the international dog industry how much potential your most innovative new product holds - and become part of a special premiere: The spoga dog TOP INNOVATIONS AWARD is being conferred for the dog sector in 2027 for the first time.

The award is already firmly established in the equestrian sport sector. With spoga dog powered by ZZF, we are now creating a new stage for dog-related innovations. Whether it involves smart technology, sustainable materials or a design that sets new standards, if your new product fulfils all the expert jury's evaluation criteria, you have the chance to be nominated and recognised as one of the industry's best innovations.

The jury will nominate up to 20 outstanding products. Up to five winners will be selected from these nominees.

All nominated products and winners will be prominently showcased alongside the contestants of the spoga horse TOP INNOVATIONS on the BOULEVARD OF INNOVATION at spoga dog powered by ZZF. The highlight will be the awards ceremony on THE STAGE, the central platform for innovation, exchange, professional development, and inspiration at the heart of the spoga horse and spoga dog powered by ZZF trade fairs. The winners await a trophy, a certificate and maximum visibility among the trade audience, media and decision-makers of the international dog industry.

Benefits for winners and nominees

The benefits for the winners of the spoga dog TOP INNOVATIONS AWARD

  • Label: Usage rights and advertising materials for the spoga dog TOP INNOVATIONS AWARD 2027 title.
  • Online gallery: A featured showcase on the spoga dog website.
  • Video clip: A short product teaser with the title spoga dog TOP INNOVATIONS AWARD per winner, which will be shared on all communication channels.
  • Exposure and attention: The results will be shared across the global spoga dog network.
  • Trophy and certificate: A trophy and certificate round off the benefits.

The benefits for the most innovative products

  • BOULEVARD OF INNOVATIONS: The most innovative products of the up to 20 nominees will be presented to the entire spoga dog audience in a central location at the trade fair.
  • Online gallery: Furthermore, the 20 nominated products will be presented on the spoga dog website for one year in the form of a photo and product information. A link to their website will also be provided.
  • Exposure and attention: The results will be made available to the global spoga dog media and visitor network and published on all of spoga dog's communication channels.
  • Certificate: All nominees receive a "spoga dog PROOF OF INNOVATION 2027" certificate.

The evaluation process

The submitted products will be assessed by an independent and interdisciplinary team. The team members represent the retail, media and professional sectors. Further information on the jury for 2027 will follow shortly.

All products submitted punctually will be presented to the jury for evaluation. The jury will allocate points to your product according to six different criteria. Each criterion is awarded up to ten points from the jury. The criteria Innovation Strategy & Approach as well as Overall Concept receive double the amount of points. The points from all jury members are subsequently added together for each product submitted. In this way, up to 20 products will be determined, which in turn receive the spoga dog PROOF OF INNOVATION. The best five products win the title: spoga dog TOP INNOVATION 2027.

Participation fee

  • The participation fee is EUR 290 per product.
  • The invoice for the participation fee will be sent to you by post after the trade fair.

What is the participation fee used for?

Participation in the spoga dog TOP INNOVATIONS AWARD is only possible for exhibitors who have already registered for the trade fair. The participation fee will be used to highlight and strengthen your benefits so that you can benefit from the award in the best possible way.

Registration and submission

It is possible to register up until 6 November. If you are among the nominees, you will receive an official notification from us as of 11 January 2027.

Should your entry be among the five winners of the spoga dog TOP INNOVATIONS AWARD, we will inform you shortly before spoga dog 2027 so that we have sufficient time for the digital preparation of your product.
